Cost benefit assessment analyses the proposed development of a renewable energy project involving the construction of a centralized waste digester and waste conversion facility in Siggiewi to cater for cattle manure from which biogas is to be generated as well as the utilization of the land area through the installation of a number of PV panels.

The demand for the project is essentially tied to the country’s requirements for renewable energy production, the viability of the project is intrinsically linked to the availability of manure inputs for its operation.
